League of Legends (LoL) is a popular online multiplayer battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games. Launched in 2009, it quickly became a global phenomenon and one of the most-played video games in the world. This year, League of Legends’ World Championship will head to possibly their most popular competitive scenes, Korea. Home of powerhouse teams such as T1, a team that has three Worlds titles under their belt as well as two semi-final finishes, making them undoubtedly a team that will remain in LoL’s history books. This year’s Worlds will take place between October 10th and will then culminate on November 19th with the grand finals at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

The esports scene for League of Legends has grown significantly over the years, attracting massive audiences, sponsorship deals, and lucrative contracts for players.
